Stubborn Hearts is a podcast for filmmakers, about filmmakers, featuring filmmakers.

 

I believe that independent filmmakers deserve to have their stories shared just as much as the big-budget studio filmmakers. So I created a podcast to do exactly that. Every episode I sit down with a group of filmmakers and get to know them, and their projects. I believe that learning from your peers is just as important and inspiring as being mentored by insanely successful people. So I ask my guests for advice on how to turn an idea into a script into a film. I believe that having a stubborn heart is the most important quality to have as an artist. You need commitment and persistence, and it needs to come from your heart. You need to believe in your art and believe in yourself. And you need to believe in it so much that you will stop at nothing to see your dream become a reality.
